05.05.10 Players: Sarah O'Donnell and Norena Thoenes, Liz Doody and
Izzy Tomkins

We played Bridgnorth 3. Sarah and I won our first game 6-3 coming back
from 1-3 and although playing some great tennis lost the next set 6-0
and our tie break. Liz and Izzy played some great games and we all gave
it our all with quite a few games that could have gone either way.
Although we lost 7-1, we found the hospitality of the ladies from
Bridgnorth was excellent and we were made very welcome.

We played Bridgnorth 2 ladies and lost 8-0. Beautiful warm evening and
great courts. A little rusty we soon settled in and played some good
games which may not be reflected in the score though. A great first
match with regards to hospitality and high spirits to start another
season.
